Brought together by a mutual love for sci fi movies, weird club music and south western French cooking style, the 2 French gentlemen make beautiful things. Voodoo, Chicago house, futuristic disco, jackin’ techno, analog basslines, ring modulation, krautdisco, mascarpone and chianti. Yes indeed.

How did the project start?
We met at the gym. We then got “Discodeine is hot” tattoed on each other’s ass.

What’s your new release about?
Tom Select is about our common love for Warehouse music played at a very low volume. But it’s also a tribute to Hawaï.

What’s your Fairtilizer’s mix about?
It’s about green pastas, soya milk, but also bio pop songs. It’s a solar low fat mix.

How do you see today’s French electro scene?
Very French. We call it “Baguettecore music”.

Influences and family?
The Funky side of Messiaen, the funnier side of Can, the dark side of Gotainer.

As an artist what services do you expect from the internet?
Free digital travels to Brazil. Cold wireless pepper vodka.

And how is it important to you today?
We feel slaved to the rhythm of it.

Digital or Physical, is there a place for both?
Physical is always better in general, Physical is love, digital is hate.

A Discodeine cookbook, a Discodeine centerpark with Nazi hunting activities, a giant sauna/kebab place with a restricted area for Ennio Morricone’s string section.

The music industry is a mess (in F minor).

Do you live off music today?
No, music is very unfaithful. You give everything to music & all you get in return is some drunk bitch asking you to play a Daft Punk song (in the best case scenario).
