We were lucky enough to catch Dave 1 between a performance with Hall & Oates and a plane to the UK. His Fairtilizer playlist consists of his 10 favorite songs of 2008. Listen to them now!

What are you currently up to?

I’m on a plane, flying to the UK to do some shows.

You recently got to play with Hall & Oates for Live From Daryl’s House, how was that?

A dream come true, no less.

How much of an influence have Hall & Oates been for Chromeo?

I guess you could say that without knowing it, they pretty much co-wrote half of our songs.

How important has the internet been for Chromeo?

It has allowed us to exist.

Where do you see the internet going in the future?

I want to say “more user generated content” but I have no idea what that means.
