It’s a difficult time for the music industry: how do you see the future of it?
Well in terms of the acts that appear then disappear it’s a pretty fluid cycle. It seems to move very quickly with scenes and sub-genres hitting the blogs before they have even happened in clubs. I think bands working in every way to make the buzz happen for themselves is what is really going on and it can be done. Genres have completely merged in the last 5 years and i think that’s what this decade of music will be remembered for.

How do you use & see the web today, how do you see it evolving in the coming years?
When will it ever stop!? There’s no limit or restraint to it and i thinks that’s a good and bad thing. We are big fans of a site called ‘DarkAudio’… Live streaming of dj sets and pretty much every new mix under the sun. It’s our gateway to new music and a perfect example of a forward thinking music site.

You have some buzz going on but no way to monetize it, would you give away ur music for free to keep growing it?
It depends… I think older tracks that don’t make final album cuts are worth giving away if it’s linked into things like mailing lists etc. There is no point leaving good material on the depths of computer hard drives! That said, timing of releases is important and sometimes you don’t want to saturate the internet with random songs. The buzz should be growing regardless.

How do you deal with / prevent / use an (un)official leak?
Once it’s out it’s out… I suppose it’s up to the label to try and minimize its visibility on the net if it’s way before the release date but once promos go out it’s going to appear in loads of places and there’s not much you can do about it.

Recommended music sites (services, shop, blogs…)?
DarkAudio !

How’s the scene in London?
Like i mentioned before, things change quite quickly but thats kind of the beauty of it. I suppose we would be considered part of a london scene although we feel very much different to a lot of stuff that happens here.

Best thing that happened to you recently?
Heard the new Alex Metric remix of our single yesterday. That made us very happy.

Best place to live?
Well i should say Kings Cliffe but a few of us are n Brighton at the moment. We love it down there.

Last album you enjoyed listening to?
Miike Snow.

Last book you enjoyed reading?
'A Special Providence’ by Richard Yates.

Smoking or non-smoking clubs?
I am a smoker but non-smoking every time. In Paris they just have secluded glass rooms within the bars and clubs that you can smoke in. It kinda works…

Your joke of the moment?
This is the funniest thing ive seen in a while!:
