WTF is Fukkk Offf about, can you introduce yourself to our community?
FUKKK OFFF was normaly thought as a side project of my normaly more minimal productions under my name bastian heerhorst.I was kind of bored of just doing plingplong sounds and wanted to create a project where i can express feelings about love and hate in a more aggressive way without any rules.

What are you up to at the moment?
I just finished my album and i´m working on some interesting remixes at the moment

What are your Citizen’s single and your Coco Machete’s album about, why
should we listen to them?
The two tracks on the single will also be included on the album and they represent the typical FUKKK OFFF sound: Fat basslines, sick computervoices and melodic breaks.
On the album you will realize the wide range of styles i produced stuff from pop to heavymetal but always with the FUKKK OFFF flavour

How did you get into music, what’s your musical background?
I started with piano lessons as a child,then produced with amiga protracker in the beginning of the 90s
then i got into all that wonderfull vst stuff 10 years ago…

How’s the scene in Hamburg, who do you rate?
The scene is cool i really love my city…we have a lot of cool acts who originally started in hamburg like boys noize,d.i.m or digitalism…

Places of interesest in your city?
Of course the st pauli area (my barrio) with all the clubs and pubs
also our harbour is really nice

How is internet important for you today and how do you see it evolving in
the coming years?
Without the internet and myspace i probably never had a real chance to present my work to such a big audience…i would never met sean from cocomachete in NY…i dont know how it evolves but with apps like twitter it starts to get a bit scary…

As an artist how do you use & see the web today, what would be the ultimate
one stop place for all your need as a producer?
I’m looking fwd to the new share function of ableton live…producing tracks nearly in real time with other producers around the world sounds really interesting

What are you currently listening to and recommand?
All the stuff from siriusmo

Do you live entirely of your music today?
I probably could but i still have a daytimejob which keeps me down to earth and lets get up at 7 in the morning

Best thing that happened to you last month?
i´m single again

Are you a good cook and if yes what’s your speciality recipe, if not what’s
your number one junk food?
Pizza of course

Where is, for you, THE place to play live, if one (sound, lights, crew,
friendly promoter, unlimited drink tickets…)?
I would love to play on some open air festivals…perhaps next year

A movie you would like to watch now, right now?
Still havent seen “Berlin Calling”

Best place to stay when abroad?
L.A was great last year !chillin with t-shirt in december!
